Series 24 Sleeper Express "Hokutosei" Orone 25/Orahane 25 2-Car Set
● Item Introduction
The 24 Series Sleeper Limited Express "Hokutosei" was introduced in 1988 to coincide with the opening of the Seikan Tunnel, connecting Honshu and Hokkaido. It operated between Ueno and Sapporo, and was well-received for its hotel-like services.
◆ This set not only allows you to recreate the "Hokutosei," but also the "Yumekukan Hokutosei" from the early Heisei period, when the Yumekukan cars were combined with the Hokutosei cars.
◆ Product Features
- A set of two cars, Orone 25 and Orahane 25, from a formation consisting of JR Hokkaido and JR East cars around 2010.
- Recreates the unique window arrangement and the blue body with gold stripes, characteristic of the "Hokutosei," different from the original 24 series.
- The Orone 25 features compartment partitions visible through the side windows.
- Body markings are pre-printed.
- Adopts the KATO coupler with expandable close coupling system.
- Side destination display is installed blank, and destination display stickers are included.
- Compatible with separately sold interior lights for all cars. To avoid seeing the lighting board through the windows on the second floor, install the separately sold N gauge LED interior light clear.

● Item Introduction
New figures have been added to the 1/87 scale (HO) lineup that complement the 24 Series “Yumekukan”. Introduced by JR East in 1989 as the next generation of luxurious coaches, the actual trains consisted of three cars: Dining Car OSHI 25 901, Crystal Lounge Supremo OHAFU 25 901, and Deluxe Sleeper ORONE 25 901. These figures depict scenes such as dining, relaxed conversations, and moments of rest in sleeper cars, enhancing the experience of a special journey.
◆ One of the highlights that maximizes the enjoyment of the (HO) 24 Series “Yumekukan” is the introduction of figures tailored to the atmosphere of each car. The product lineup includes three individual types and one set assortment of three types. With different color variations available in both individual figures and sets, you can create a vibrant atmosphere inside the train.
◆ Product Features
- These figures are specifically designed for the Dining Car Oshi 25, Lounge Ohafu 25, and Deluxe Sleeper Oron 25. They come in two options: a set of 26 figures covering all three cars, and individual figures capturing each car's unique features.
- 6-516 (HO) Seated passengers (dining)… Ideal figures for the dining car, showing scenes like dining alone or with a companion, waiting for or enjoying a meal. Includes 10 passengers and one waiter, totaling 11 figures.
- 6-517 (HO) Seated passengers (conversation)… Figures depicting adults relaxing and chatting in the lounge, totaling 10 figures.
- 6-518 (HO) Compartment sleeper passengers… Figures resting in beds within the Deluxe Sleeper, including 5 beds (including 2 parent-child beds) and one seated figure, totaling 6 figures.
- 6-515 (HO) “Yumekukan” Passenger Set… A package assortment of 26 figures designed for the “Yumekukan” 3-car set.
- Designed to fit the interior dimensions of the 24 Series “Yumekukan” in HO scale.
- Different color schemes available between the passenger sets and individual figures.
