BNSF and Your Railroad

The BNSF operates one of the largest railroad networks in North America (about 32000 miles of track) with connections to the Eastern, Canadian and Mexican markets.  Much of this traffic involves containers on MAXI IV Well Cars which you can now run on your own railroad (as a part of the BNSF or one of its connecting railroads).  As a connecting railroad, you can operate the BNSF cars and containers independently or with one of the Kato BNSF SD40-2 Mid versions assisting your own motive power.  Run these MAXI-IVs’ into or out of your container yard and you can now load or unload them because of the Kato metal plate and magnet in each container for easy stacking in the cars or on the ground.

Model Features:  Provides stable operation with or without container loads due to Kato’s new innovative heavier material steel compound plastic used for the construction of the well car. Each container has a magnet and a metal plate to hold it securely to the well car bottom or to the top of the lower Kato container.  Containers sold separately (2) per package.
