Next month, we?re pleased to announce the latest release of the new Z scale GP-35 locomotive, in the livery of Burlington Northern in two road numbers.  (This is the first time M/T released the GP-35 in two road numbers simultaneously!)

Originally built by Electro Motive Division for Great Northern in 1964, this loco was repainted to Burlington Northern colors after the line?s creation in 1970 from the Great Northern; Spokane, Portland & Seattle; Northern Pacific; and the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy.

The high-nose GP-9 will be Micro-Trains 3^rd Z scale locomotive model, joining siblings F7 and GP-35.  Out newest Z scale locomotive will be introduced in early 2007, and will feature all the prototypical details you?ve come to expect from Micro-Trains.

Meanwhile, our 18^th Z scale body style will debut in August:  the FMC 50? Rib-Side Box Car.  This car joins our Z scale PS-2 Two-Bay Covered Hopper, which will be released in June.
