Attention all DRG, UP & SP N Scale Modelers: Special Run - Car After decades of revenue service, and a severe case of rust, this Rio Grande covered hopper was re-numbered with an "A-X" prefix as they did with much of their Company Service fleet, and pressed into service hauling locomotive sand. The prototype was photographed by N scaler Dan Spence in the engine terminal in Helper, Utah in the summer on 1997. This special run for Pacific Western is from deLuxe innovations new WeatherFactory? line of factory weathered limited runs. There will be only be 53 of these cars available. (The cars have not gone thru final inspection yet so the final number of cars may drop by a couple). All cars will be individually numbered. (Limit of one per customer)
