Dear N Scale, may of you have been what's been going on with our special runs made by Intermountian. Due to sheduling and production related issues many of our and Intermountains release dates have been delayed.

Intermountain has assured us the issues which caused these delays have been resolved and have given us a revised production schedule. Here is the first half of the revised N Scale Production Schedule.

There will be a further release schedule for the next group of items to be released in about 2 weeks.

But for now here is the first group of items and there approx month of release:

CP Red Government of Canada Grain Cars (Special with Graffitti) - May 2006

Art work Set A

(Dear PWRS customers these sets of cars will contain the following cars with dimentional data removed and with graffitti. While PWRS does not condone nor support the proliferation of graffitti on prototype railroad cars it is a fact of life. The cars with graffitti "Indian Country" and "Free the West" are political in nature and are in no way meant to insult or poke fun at any one person or person(s). We hope their production promotes dialoge and discussion. We at PWRS strive to produce product that is as prototypically correct (graphically) as possible)

Government of Canada "Wheat Board of Canada" Car with CP Rail (with reporting marks) - May 2007 Release

In the 1990s CN became a privately held corporation (no longer owned by the Government of Canada). At that time all of the Wheat Board of Canada's cars were assigned to CN. A few years later the Wheat Board of Canada decided to reasign a significant portion of their fleet to CP Rail when it was felt CN was not doing their best to assure timely delivery of cars to the Port of Vancouver on the west coast. Thus, these 6 cars will reflect the way these cars look today.

Also note the cars will have some of the weight information removed from the cars. This occurred when the US Railway Industry discovered a safely issue resulted from the car having too much weight related information on the side of the car (tare weight, metric weight, and imperial weight). In essence for safety considerations it was decided to remove some of the conflicting weight data to reduce the risk of cars being improperly totaled by American railroad crews who were not familiar with the Metric information on the sides of the cars.
