• Cupola extends only a couple of inches from the main car body
• Cupola end windows are tilted inward and feature windshield wipers
• One large fixed picture window on each body end that is tilted slightly upward to control glare each with a large single windshield wiper
• Two large fixed picture windows on each carbody side
• On the right side, in addition to a battery box, two additional smaller body side windows are installed
• Red and green marker lights are on each roof end in each corner
  
• A pair of clear back-up lights is positioned on the lower end railings. These lights were typically used for reverse moves and were sometimes used at night or in foggy or snowy conditions

These great cabooses were offered a few years ago in brass. As great as brass is, it is still expensive and many modelers were not able to purchase the cabooses they would have liked. Even those modelers who did buy some of the brass versions, were not able to buy as many as they wanted.

There was a project underway to bring these out in plastic by a company that recently "ceased to operate". Many modelers had made deposits to that company. That project was exclusive to that company and not related to either TrueLine Trains of Pacific Western Rail Systems.

When that company "ceased to operate", it took that project and those deposits with it. Neither Pacific Western Rail Systems or TrueLine Trains can honor those orders or deposits. However, this project will be produced and modelers can now get what they wanted.

TrueLine Trains is producing a variety of road names, schemes and road number to choose from. Additionally, Pacific Western Rail Systems has arranged for five PWRS Exclusive versions of the caboose that were used and seen the Western Canada area with Canadian National and BC Rail.

These were frequently seen in operation with our 4000cf Canadian Coal Gondolas.

All products in this release are limited production run, first ordered, first filled items. The PWRS Exclusive models are limited to a production run of 50 each and there are only 100 to 200 of each of the rest of the models being produced by TrueLine Trains. This is the entire production run for ALL stores, not just PWRS.

With such a limited production run, ordering quickly will be important to have the best chance at receiving these. Within moments of this product being announced, there were a large number of orders.

Modelers who are interested in these models are strongly encouraged to order now! With so few being made, they will go very quickly.

Important Note: for all modelers, TrueLine has already committed to the qty coming. There will no increases. The Order Qty is set. If you want  a specific Caboose order now! All regular run cabooses made by TrueLine are coming in assortments (usually 3 or 4 different road numbers). If you want all four (or three) road numbers order the set. First priority will be given to those ordering the complete set. If you want specific road numbers we will try our best to accomidate you.
