50 Ft. Sieco Box Cars


The Sieco exterior post plate 50 ft. boxcar entered production in the early 1970s with several class one railroads, as well as independent per diem (daily) short lines. In service for nearly thirty years, these cars still ply the rails doing yeoman service. The Athearn model will feature:

* Individual stand alone details;
* Machined metal wheel sets with rotating scale bearing caps; and * photographically-confirmed razor sharp graphics.

The unique nature of this model and its faithful rendering by Athearn, plus the factory-weathered scheme, makes this a "must have" for model railroaders. It will be available in the below illustrated road names and paint schemes. Decorated cars will be fully assembled.
