BLI's First Come, First Served Policy
We received a notice from Broadway Limited late last week that said everything in the 2016 - 2017 BLI Product Guide may be ordered at any time. We have added those items we have not previously announced to this series of announcements.
Apparently BLI has committed to the build numbers for all the current products; quantities have already been set. Therefore all of the items in their 2016 - 2017 Catalog have a limited quantity and some items may be shorter than usual. There is no Guarantee of delivery beyond what they have committed to.
We have added all the additional items that we did not have in our database as listed in the items in this announcement. We suggest strongly, if there is something you want, get your order in now! Broadway is no longer allowing customers the usual 30-60 days to decide if they want product before quantities are set.

During WWII, the Pennsylvania Railroad found itself in dire need of motive power. Due to War Production Board requirements, no new designs were allowed, so the Pennsy tested various engines and selected a 12-year-old C&O design - the T1 2-10-4, which was built by Lima. The new "Texas" type on the PRR was a near duplicate of the first super-large 2-10-4 of the C&O.
