Dear N Scalers: 

     About a month ago one of our customers called asking if the Saskatchewan Grain Hopper would be available in time for the "World's Greatest Hobby" show in Nashville, TN as he wanted to run them on the KSONS N-Trak layout.  We made arrangements to send him a couple of the test samples (delivery expected mid March) for the WGH show.

     For those of you who have read "blogs" about this car you need to read the reaction of this customer when he received the test samples.

     "Sometimes when you wait for something ………when you get it, maybe it doesn't live up to the hype from either the company or yourself.

      I can truthfully say when I received your cars (Saskatchewan Grain Hoppers) yesterday, I was expecting maybe that sort of reaction…….Boy was I wrong.  The detail and especially the paint scheme are just outstanding.  I hope people notice the panels in the sides of the hopper that is a detail that I’m going to point out this weekend at the World’s Greatest Hobby train show in Nashville TN.

     I will have the cars with me for roundtable discussion at our Ksons meeting on Thursday and I will have them, of course, with me at Nashville.

     I think that I will have them displayed where both the public and the runners can see them on a siding.    I have a feeling you would prefer that I didn’t run them and I will respect that wish.  I, of course, will guard them with my life...
