These specially designed containers are fully compatible with Kato's standard 53' Intermodal containers and well cars, and are exquisitely designed and lettered with all the necessary safety markings to make them FRA safe, even if they'll never make it out onto the 1:1 railroads! This limited production run of MR 75th Anniversary containers is available exclusively from Kato USA  and will never be reproduced, making these containers a one-of-a-kind production.

Magnet plates seated in the base of the 53ft containers keep them seated securely in the wells of the Kato MAXI IV well cars in addition to staying connected to each other without a need for glue or fragile locking pins.
