Hoppers have been around for much of railroading. Originally developed from gondolas, they offer ease of loading and unloading. Today, there are many types and sizes of open and covered hoppers carrying many different types of products and materials. These 4 bay cylindrical covered hoppers with trough hatches are most often used for the transport of grains, but are used with other commodities.

This release includes an undecorated kit and eight schemes with six road numbers for each scheme.
