Dear Model Railroaders, Usually we start our Boxing Day sale on December 25th with an email blast through Model Railroad Hobbyist Online Magazine. This year, the magazine gave us the choice of December 21st or December 28th for the announcement. We decided to broadcast on the 21st.
So here is the link to the closeout section of our website. We have loaded almost 2,000 items for you and we will be adding more over the coming days. Check back for additional items between now and December 25th. Starting December 26th, day one of the Boxing Day Sale, we will offer additional items from other manufacturers.
Boxing Day originated during the Victorian era, and is traditionally the day following Christmas Day, when servants and tradespeople would receive gifts from their superiors or employers - wrapped in a small box.
Today, Boxing Day is better known as a bank or public holiday that occurs on December 26, or the first weekday after Christmas Day, depending on national or regional laws.
It is observed in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and some other Commonwealth nations. For those of you living in the USA, it is very similar to the "After Christmas" sales.
What makes our Boxing Day Sale different is the size. It is so big that it takes days to announce everything on sale, with literally thousands of items. So many in fact, that in some cases the sale is the first time some customers have seen some items. New items will be added daily from December 25th through January 6th for HO Scale.
PLEASE NOTE: All items are first come, first served. If an item does not have a sale price indicated, it has already sold out. All sales are final.
