FreightCar America's double twin tub floor design adds up to 21 tons of capacity over conventional steel gondola cars.This design also lowers the AeroFlo's center of gravity for a smoother ride and a resulting reduction in wear and maintenance costs.Coal transporters find this feature particularly beneficial when their gondolas operate in long haul, high wear, unit train service.
