Brekina has announced new Checkered Taxi Cars from the 1950's to 1980's.

This Brekina HO Scale 1950s-1982 Checker Taxi Cab is based on the widely used North American taxicab sedan. This taxi comes decorated in one of many Checker Cab schemes (the taxi maker owned the taxi operations in several cities for a period).

Checker cabs retained the same body style for decades and the detailed Brekina model features the quad headlights used on the A12 Marathon used from the late 1950s through the end of production in 1982. The 1950s-1982 Checker Taxi Cab features an injection-molded body with window glazing, interior seats and authentic decoration. It will be a welcome addition to city streets or waiting for a fare next to your train station!
