WE CAN DO IT!

"We Can Do It!" is an American World War II wartime poster produced by J. Howard Miller in 1943 for Westinghouse Electric as an inspirational image to boost female worker morale.  The poster was not widely seen during World War II.  

It was rediscovered in the early 1980s and widely reproduced in many forms, often called "We Can Do It!" but also called "Rosie the Riveter" after the iconic figure of a strong female war production worker.  Available in two, large versions, it comes with supports.

This sign was famous during WW2 as a moral booster. Little did we know when we chose to do this sign, that there could be no better slogan for today's stressful times. The slogan was originally for the USA; but in reality, that slogan needs to be for the whole world now!

Conrail began operations on April 1, 1976. Its mandate was to revitalize rail service in the Northeast and Midwest operating as a for-profit company.

Conrail's economic recovery and turnaround began in 1980 when the Staggers Rail Act, which largely deregulated railroads, was signed into law. Conrail company is a jointly-owned subsidiary, with CSX and NS.

Chiquita Brands international's history began in 1870 when ship's captain Lorenzo Dow Baker purchased 160 bunches of bananas in Jamaica and resold them in Jersey City eleven days later. Fast forward to 1873. Central American railroad developer Minor C.Keith began to experiment with banana production in Costa Rica. The rest is history! The sign certainly makes for a conversation piece on any layout.
