Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) is a Hong Kong-based container shipping and logistics service company.
OOCL is a large integrated international container transportation, logistics and terminal company with offices in 70 countries. OOCL has 59 vessels of different classes, with capacity varying from 2,992 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) to 21,413 TEU, including two ice-class vessels for extreme weather conditions.
OOCL is a member of the Grand Alliance formed in 1998. Its founder members are Hapag-Lloyd (Germany), NYK (Japan) and OOCL (Hong Kong).
OOCL containers are commonly seen through-out the US & Canada.

40 ft Standard Height 2-P-44-P-2 'Square Corrugated' Side Containers
This is another New Body Style. It features square corrugations in a 2-44-2 Side arrangement. From the end -2 corrugations, then flat panel, then 44 corrugations, then flat panel, then 2 corrugations. Body style # 40RPS(2).
This body style also features three roof styles as per prototype photos. Some have the 'ribbed' style roof, and others have the 'flat panel' style roof, and others have a 'smooth' style roof. More prototypical variations from JTC Models. 12 different door styles are available in the Standard Height Series, and 5 different Front styles.

The company was founded 1 September 1968. Services began with a single cargo vessel named Central Trust, which operated a "go-anywhere" service. Additional vessels were acquired through the 1970s, and routes to East Asia and Central America were added. Service to the U.S. began in 1974, with the establishment of Evergreen Marine Corporation (New York) Ltd.
In 1981, the parent company changed its name to Evergreen International S.A. (EIS), as the company increased its global expansion efforts. Evergreen Marine began its first circumnavigation shipping services in 1984. This service is bi-directional, covering both westbound and eastbound routings.
Since then, Evergreen Marine has expanded to include other shipping companies such as the Uniglory Marine Corp. (Taiwan) in 1984, the Hatsu Marine Ltd. (U.K.) in 2002, and the Italian shipping company Italia Marittima (previously Lloyd Triestino, and founded as "Österreichischer Lloyd" in 1835) in 1993. Uniglory was made a division of the company in 1999.
In 2007, Hatsu, Italia Maritima, and Evergreen were merged into the single "Evergreen Line."
