PROTOTYPE INFORMATION:

These trailers roamed both the roads and the rails from the 1960's to the 1990's. They were used heavily in TOFC service, frequently carried on 50' flat cars and 89' flat cars. Many railroads operated them successfully for decades, and newer and larger versions continue in service today. Add some of these distinctive models to your TOFC operations to provide interest and authenticity to your pike.
