N-Scale, CNR 3rd Class Station Enlarged Stucco Now Available!

 Designed from original CNoR (CNR) drawings, our kit is a faithful reproduction of the prototype.  It is available in 3 different elevations. Stucco exterior finish applications on CNR stations began in the 1920's, although not all stations received stucco. The pre-stucco finish of wood and shingle siding remained on many stations especially in central and eastern Canada. Many stations were renovated to expand the capacity for both passengers and living space as well as freight handling. Expanded freight rooms varied widely.

Our kit features custom designed and 3D printed parts such as the water level indicator staff parts and sway pipe frame details.

The sway pipe is positionable and can be made operational with some creativity. Windows and doors are laser cut and are also accurate. Laser cut shingles are provided for the roof.

 

Please note: Thread has been substituted for scale chain in the N-scale model. If you have any, use very small scale jewelry chain as desired.

CPR St. Marys Station

Designed from photos of the CPR St. Marys station, our kit is a faithful reproduction of the prototype. Our kit features accurate laser cut doors, windowsand asphalt shingles along with other features of the station. This kit includes interior details (walls, doors and ticket counters). All parts to complete the station as shown are included; laser cut floor, walls, roof, shingles, windows, details and trim. Our comprehensive construction manual with lots of photos, drawings and templates are included.

Building footprint: 5 1/2" x 2 1/8" (not including eave overhangs) - Platform: 5 1/2" x 1 3/16"

Monashee Laser Engineering (MLE) is a Canadian manufacturer of fine scale model railroad structure and rolling stock kits. Our goal is to provide a quality kit that can be assembled by the average modeller and achieve superior results.

A considerable amount of time and research has gone into the design of each of our kits. They are prepared using graphic design software from photos, plans and drawings and are an accurate or slightly modified representation of an actual prototype. Where a prototype does not exist, designs are based on typical design practices for the period.
