Rapido Trains HO Scale "Super Continental Line" - Passenger Set - LAST CHANCE!
One of our customers recently passed away. There are some items they paid for but didn't have a chance to enjoy.
We are long sold out of the Super Continental Line and many of our customers didn't get a chance to place their orders.

The Super Continental Line brings new meaning to the term "museum quality." Our first two cars are the LIGHTWEIGHT COACH and DUPLEX SLEEPER. More cars will follow later in 2006 and 2007. Rapido Trains Inc. offers these cars decorated for a variety of popular paint schemes, with partial skirts or fixed steps as appropriate. HO scale.
Rapido Trains HO Scale "Super Continental Line" Lightweight Coach - Royal Canadian Pacific "Dominion" (SKU 224-100086)
In the early 1950s, Canadian National Railways placed one of the largest passenger car orders in railroad history. These cars were used on such famous trains as the Super Continental, the Ocean, the Panorama and our namesake, the Rapido. They continued on mainline and branchlilne service with CN and VIA until the late 1990s, and in fact some are still running on VIA trains in northern Manitoba and one has been resurrected as VIA's exclusive Glen Fraser lounge car!
Today, CN's cars can be found on tourist railways all over North America and even on Canadian Pacific passenger trains. They are without doubt the most successful smoothside passenger cars ever built and over the next few years Rapido Trains Inc. will be producing museum-quality models of many of them.

The "Oh, So Steamy!" Steam Generator Car also features working backup lights. You can turn the steam and the lights on and off using the Rapido Lighter (included). The car also includes EVERY pipe that is underneath the prototype - we banged our heads on the real ones enough times to know - as well as beautiful BX express trucks and painted grab irons installed at the factory. Several car numbers are available for each paint scheme.
