Dear HO Scale Customers; Smokebox Graphics has released a wide variety of Decals for pre-2000 HO trains. Check them out!

 

Printed in Italy by Cartograf, these decals are very high quality thinfilm waterslide decals. The film has been strategically printed on the sheets to minimize the amount of trimming required when using the decals.  The quality of the printing is such that even the scale 1" lettering is legible. Stencil marks on dimensional data and other labels have also been reproduced where applicable.

 

 

Kartrak ACI Labels

 

Decal set with 96 different ACI labels useful from late 1960s to present on cars and locomotives. Unlike other ACI labels on the market, these use gray (not pure white) for the lightest colored bars to more closely match the prototype. Note that these have been printed using a screen + offset technique to provide a higher quality decal.

 

 

Pere Marquette Freight Cars

 

Comprehensive decal set that covers the vast majority of Pere Marquette-lettered equipment from mid-'30s through mid-'60s. Each package includes one of the decal artwork shown on the instruction sheet and will complete up to five cars.

 

Ann Arbor 40' Boxcars 

 

Decal set covers multiple orders of AA boxcars, including PS-1 and ACF cars. Sheet includes 4 different pennant heralds, compass herald, and many types of lettering and data and will complete up to four cars.

 

Buffalo Creek ACF 40' Boxcars

Decal set covers both orders of ACF 10'-5" IH boxcars (1953 welded side and 1956 riveted side). Each package includes two of the decal artwork shown on the instruction sheet and will complete up to two cars.

 

New Haven '37 AAR 40' Boxcars (Orange)

 

Decal set covers 1955-rebuilt '37 AAR 40' boxcars in the orange with large "NH" scheme. Each package includes two of the decal artwork shown on the instruction sheet and will complete one car.

 

 

Reweigh Patches 1945-1960

 

Decal set with patch data for reweighed freight cars. Covers dates from 1945-1960 (WWII thru change in allowable axle load). Weights for 40, 50, and 70 ton cars, plus repack and brake test stencils. Two styles, 60+ reweigh stations. Includes 8.5x11 fold-out sheet guide with prototype information.

 

 

Reweigh Patches 1960-1974

 

Decal set with patch data for reweighed freight cars. Covers dates from 1960-1974 (change in allowable axle load thru COTS). Weights for 50, 70, and 100 ton cars, plus repack and brake test stencils. Two styles, 60+ reweigh stations. Includes 8.5x11 fold-out sheet guide with prototype information.
