The Goodyear Company was named after American Charles Goodyear, inventor of vulcanized rubber. The first Goodyear tires became popular because they were easily detachable and required little maintenance. The company is the most successful tire supplier in Formula One history, with more starts, wins, and constructors' championships than any other tire supplier. Who doesn’t remember the Road Runner cartoon series from the60’s?!
The Road Runner Show ran from 1966-1972. The series' main characters were Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner. The cartoons were from Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, which were produced by Warner Brothers Cartoons between 1949 and 1964. Several of the shorts, especially the ones produced from 1965 onward, were produced by DePatie– Freleng after Warner Bros.
RCA’s little Nipper became an advertising icon three years after his death in 1895. The original image was offered to the Edison record company who declined saying “Dogs don’t listen to phonographs.” In the end it was acquired the RCA to become one of the world
most recognized icons. Available in two sizes.
