Manufactured in the early 20th century, this versatile 2-8-0 was used both domestically and internationally in freight, industrial, and passenger service. Today, a number continue to operate through breathtaking scenery in excursion service. Newly reintroduced, our Baldwin Outside Frame 2-8-0 arrives with prototypical details replicating oil-burning examples found in the United States. An additional undecorated example, which will include interchangeable details to suit most domestic or international configurations, is also available. All examples feature SoundTraxx Tsunami2 DCC, with multiple programmable choices for exhaust chuff, whistles, bells, and a wide range of additional steam locomotive sound effects.
