Item Introduction

The Tokyo Metro 16000 series debuted in 2010 as a replacement for the aging 6000 series on the Chiyoda Line. These trains operate not only on the Chiyoda Line but also run through to the JR Joban Line and Odakyu Odawara Line, making them a familiar sight across a wide area.

◆ KATO is expanding its Tokyo Metro series with a new lineup. Kato (Japan) is releasing the 1st batch of the 16000 series from the Chiyoda Line, featuring the centrally located front emergency exit. You can enjoy comparing the differences in design between this and the previously released 2nd and 5th batches, and it’s also fun to pair them with the Joban Line trains for more diverse setups.
