Here is the latest information for all Athearn / Athearn Genesis and Roundhouse products?

We have just been sent confirmation from Horizon that all future products from Athearn are paused or delayed. This will remain in effect until the uncertainly regarding the 145% Tariffs is clarified.

So at the moment Horizon just received the following projects and they will be shipping in a few days(and are unaffected by the 145% tariffs).

Everything else is frozen. There will also be no monthly annoncement of new products until the situation is clarified and resolved.

Here is the text of the letter we received from Horizon:

Good afternoon,

               

Due to the China import tariff increasing to 145% and ongoing uncertainty about future rates, the Athearn team is currently unable to confirm pre-order pricing with confidence. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to postpone all new product announcements, including the May release originally scheduled for Friday, April 25th.

 

We understand this may be disappointing, but believe this pause is the most prudent course of action under the circumstances.

 

Athearn and Horizon Hobby will continue to monitor the situation and share updates as they become available through our website, social media, and weekly newsletter. We appreciate your understanding—and we look forward to announcing our exciting upcoming releases. 

 

Athearn will be notifying customers on Thursday afternoon, April 24^th through our various social media platforms as well as our website and newsletter on Friday, April 25^th.
