D51 Make-up Parts Sets

● Item Introduction

A new parts set is here to help you turn the standard mass-production model of the D51 into a one-of-a-kind locomotive. This set includes distinctive accessories such as smoke deflectors and heavy oil tanks, which varied by rail line and depot. It also features region-specific number plates and lettering sheets, allowing you to recreate the exact version of the D51 you prefer.

Two types are available this time: Chūō Main Line Type and Kansai Main Line Type, each tailored to the characteristics of that region.

◆ You can now customize your [1-203 (HO) D51 Standard Mass-Production Type] with the Make-Up Parts Set for even greater realism. Add the rugged, heavy-duty look seen on mountainous lines with region-specific details to give your D51 a more powerful and dynamic presence!

◆ Product Features

Chūō Main Line Type

① Nakatsugawa Depot locomotive features, such as Nagano-style smoke deflectors and cab ventilation systems for tunnel and gradient operation.

• Nagano-style smoke deflectors ×2, manual levers for smoke deflectors ×2, cab ventilation hatches ×2 sets, LP405-type shield beam headlights for locomotive front / tender rear ×2 sets each.
• Coal bunker extensions L/R/End + coal bunker floor plates ×2 each, number plates: “209”, “238”, “753”, “893” ×1 set each, lettering sheet (brass color & white) ×1.

Kansai Main Line Type

② Kameyama and Nara Depots Kadoma Pass locomotives with heavy equipment, such as Takatori-style smoke deflectors and a 650-liter heavy oil auxiliary combustion tank.

• Takatori-style smoke deflectors ×2, powered deflector engines + dome inspection steps ×2, tablet catcher + number plate cover L/R ×2 each.
• Heavy oil tank (Takatori type, 650 liters) ×2, double-type ticket holders ×4, coal bunker floor plates ×2, number plates: “145”, “452”, “614”, “703” ×1 set each, lettering sheet (brass color + white) ×1.
