Announcing “NEW” HO Amtrak “Superliner I” Coaches Phase III
and “MHC” Material Handling Car Phase III

We are happy to announce that we will be producing Superliner I and Material Handling Cars in HO scale, starting with two phase III coach releases and one phase III MHC release. These cars will feature exquisite detailing, both inside and out, and will come with our Kinematic close coupling system.

The 1^st of the NEW numbered Amtrak Superliner coaches in HO will be available soon from Kato USA. There will be additional Superliner coaches and MHC available with additional different car numbers along with other types of Superliner cars in the future. These trains can be operated with the Kato F40PH Phase III locomotives now available in 3 different numbers 37-6551 (#375), 37-6552 (#391) and 37-6553 (#400). Amtrak operates their Superliner service between many large cities and services hundreds of small towns across America. This would be a good opportunity for the modeler to begin or expand passenger service on their individual model railroad empire.
