August 4, 2010 - Palisades Amusement Park - Few words can elicit as many fond memories and smiles. For generations, countless seekers of fun visited the famous North Jersey park to ride the famous Cyclone Roller Coaster, cuddle up in the Tunnel of Love, or enjoy the “World’s Largest Salt Water Pool” in the shadow of the Manhattan skyline.

   Like many amusement parks, Palisades Park originated near the turn of the twentieth century as an attraction designed to promote weekend ridership for a local trolley company. Situated on the Palisades Cliffs at the boroughs of Cliffside Park and Fort Lee, Palisades Amusement Park quickly grew in size and popularity to become one of America’s most famous and popular fun centers.
