Attention:  PORTERS Members

Here are two more of the changes to PORTERS:

1.  We get calls or emails each month from customers in a panic because their orders are "Gone" - "It was there yesterday but it has been deleted".  What has actually happened is that the order is in the middle of being processed and is sitting on someone's desk at the end of the day to be continued tomorrow.  When this happened in the past, the order left the "In Stock Shipping Soon" section as soon as it was "picked" or removed from inventory for that customer and, if it had not yet been invoiced, it did not get into their "Goodie Box" or get shipped and show up in "past orders; it just "disappeared" from a customer's PORTERS account.  To correct this disappearing act, we have added a "Picked, Not Invoiced" section to the "Products on Order" Tab.

2.  Take a look at your "Preferences" tab in your PORTERS account.  We have added "Product Types".  This allows you to eliminate any product categories from your "Reservation" tab sheet that are of no interest to you.  We feel there is no sense having categories open such as "Steam Locomotives" if you are only doing contemporary modeling.  Please be careful that you do not eliminate categories that you do want.  You control your PORTERS account.
