SUNSET MODELS

We are updating this announcement in order to share with you the information we have received from Sunset Models. We are advised that:

“To make this model happen I had to bring it to 3 different builders and finally found one that will make a short run of 150 models. But.. the unit price to us is much higher. …

“I[t] was not our intention but we can't release a model for less than our cost, it just doesn't work. And short of cancelling this order, we would rather make it, although at a higher price. …

 "...usually we find that when customers see what a wonderful model we make, they come back and buy it anyway."

“Since we get so few orders now for DC models, we are stopping the DCC ready offering. If people don't like the QSI system, they can just take it out and wire up the harness for straight DC.

“Please give me the engine numbers that your customers requested and I will make sure they are made as well."

This last statement means those of you ordered a long time ago and who have not yet advised us of your preference as to the engine number  you want, whether for Calgary, 5931, or Quebec, 5935, you need to do so immediately.  Those of  you who are ordering now, need to make your selection by choosing the correct product listing for the engine number you want.

Please note: there will be two road numbers available # 5931 and 5935. 5931 is currently in Calgary and 5935 is in Quebec. Please indicate when ordering which engine you want.
