Paint Schemes To Choose From!

First Version Released 2008

     The Saskatchewan Grain Car Corporation has now released more green grain hoppers.  The SKPX cars are now moving all over North America and the SKNX cars will be on the road around Jul1, 2012.  The paint scheme is very similar but for the keen eye - look for the exclamation mark to be removed and down on the sill are two new notices- "DO NOT HAMMER ON SIDES OF CAR" in bright orange and "DO NOT RUN CAR WITH DOORS OR HATCHED OPEN" in bold black.

Second Version Released 2012

Features Include:

• Low mounted air reservoir 
• Trough loading hatches
• Holes in the bolster plates with "PULL" labeled cars
  
• 11 roof walk supports
• Finely etched metal roof walks
• Metal NARCorp semi-scale wheels - narrow tread (wide tread available)
• High Performance low friction NARCorp trucks
• Spiral Cog or Toggle Lock exit gates (as appropriate)
• Micro text on trucks, sills and slope plates
• 12 road numbers
  
• Limited run of only 50 cars per road number

Note:

     These cars are weighted 20% over NMRA standards for increased stability.  Combine that with NARCorp High Performance low friction trucks and you can run longer consists with no additional front end power.
