Pacific Western Rail Systems announced our first Micro-Trains PORTERS Club Lounge Car today at the N Scale National Convention in Medford, Oregon. Only 50 copies of this specially graffitied and weathered car will be produced and are available exclusively to PORTERS Members.

About The PORTERS Club Lounge

What are PORTERS Club Lounge cars and what makes them so unique? These are very limited production, specially lettered, graffitied and/or weathered cars only available to PORTERS Members. There are 50 or fewer copies of any road number or scheme in the PORTERS Club Lounge. As a result, these cars are both very unique and highly collectible.

These cars, only available to PORTERS Members, are a special "thank you" item to our customers. This Micro-Trains Club Lounge car is available on a first come, first served basis to customers who have purchased enough Micro-Trains products to have 2500 Micro-Trains Manufacturers Credits and is strictly limited to one car each.

Not sure if you have enough Micro-Trains Manufacturer Credits to redeem receive one of these special cars? Just check your PORTERS Points balance when you sign into your PORTERS Account. It is in a green box on the right hand side of the screen. Once there, check you manufacturer credits too. Then go to the PORTERS Club Lounge and see what you want. Check out as normal and select "Pay with Points". If you have any questions, or need any assistance, please contact us and we will be glad to assist you.

Remember you need 2500 PORTERS Points, and 2500 Manufacturers Credits from Micro Trains!

The requirement of the 2500 Manufacturers Credits, is so we can prove to the Manufacturer (in this case Micro Trains), the person getting the car did earn their 2500 PORTERS points from buying Micro Trains products.

So buying a large amount of i.e. Kato Engines, doesn't qualify you to get the Micro Trains Soo Line car.

Canadian Pacific Orphan

The first car is even more rare in real life than it is in the Club Lounge. It is an ex-Procor Word Mark car built by Marine Industries. The reporting marks and road number have been changed, and visibility marks added, but otherwise wears the Procor Word Mark scheme. This car is currently in scrap load revenue service and appears to be a one of a kind car.

 

Canadian Pacific Super Tramp

The second Club Lounge car is a Marine Industries built ex-Procor Placard car that has had it's paint scheme altered by both Canadian Pacific and other persons unknown. This car still wears the Procor Placard, but has CP reporting marks and road numbers, as well as other car instructions, and is currently in tie load service.
