An important announcement on TrueLine Trains' website this morning may affect some of our customers and some of those who are looking for a new dealer:

What does that mean to you, the customer?

Here is the answer from TrueLine Trains website:

We are informed that TrueLine Trains did not just take back their own product, they acquired each and every piece of inventory that was in the possession of CMT. They are now sorting through what they have acquired from CMT and will provide a detailed list to us soon.

In light of the information above, PWRS has the following comments:

1. TrueLine Trains will not be selling the merchandise they have as a retail dealer. They will, however, make that inventory available to retailers like PWRS. While we cannot make good on any orders previously placed with CMT, if you are looking for something specific, we will have access to anything acquired from CMT.
2. If you had pre-orders placed with CMT and have reason to believe they will not be fulfilled, you should immediately find a dealer who can get the products for you. There is one problem, most of the products coming in the next few months were put into production months ago and the run quotas were set at that time; so quantities not already committed may be limited.

We suggest that, if you need to place pre-orders for anything, you do so without delay, as in immediately. PWRS will do the best we can to help you find what you need, but that's the only promise we can make:

We cannot guarantee orders without a commitment from suppliers, but we'll try to get that commitment for you.
