SoundTraxx Announces The Long Awaited SurroundTraxx For Multi-Train Sound System System
WOW... It is here at last. This is to model railroading what HD has done to television. I first heard rumers of this system about 5 years ago and designed my layout for it. Then I heard nothing for so long I gave up and started putting sound into box cars because they wouldn't fit into "N" scale EMD F7A's.
I saw this system at the NSC /WHG show in Louisville KY last month and it is way better that I expected. The sound quality is what ever you make it (depends on the speakers and their enclosures) but far exceeds anything you can mount in a locomotive or box car.
