Budd passenger cars were used by many railroads and were among the cars that Amtrak began service with in the 1970's. These cars were modern, comfortable and durable and were in service for decades. Some are still in use today.
These newly tooled Walthers Mainline versions are an economical way for modelers to quickly and easily build their own consists. Built for durability and long life, just like the real cars, they can be upgraded with separately available LED lighting and detail parts.
This release includes Large-Window Coaches, 10-6 Sleepers, Diners & Baggage-Lounge cars. Each is available undecorated and in nine different road names.
