Early intermodal modelers, rejoice! We are producing a sheet and post smooth side 40’ standard-height container in N scale. The sheet and post style container preceded the steel containers in use today and a number of shippers continued to buy them into the steel container era because they had lighter tare weighs and a longer useful life than early steel containers. 

The following paint schemes are some of the earliest from the late nineteen seventies. These containers are a perfect complement to 85’ and 89’ flatcars and Twinstack well cars.
