"K" Line is the largest of the Japanese shipping lines. The K stands for Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha. Their bright red containers are so common around the world that it's difficult to believe that nearly the entire fleet was sunk during WWII and had to be rebuilt from scratch. The blue and white "T.I.R." logo refers to a customs expediting system and is commonly found on Japanese owned containers.
