Shortly after its maiden run. The Pioneer Zephyr was the star of the 1934 movie called The Silver Streak. (This is not the 1970's movie staring Gene Wilder. Many people are not aware of the original 1934 movie.)


Con-Cor has created a special, limited edition of the Pioneer Zephyr lettered for the "Silver Streak" as it appeared in the 1934 movie.


This special edition set ALSO includes a special DVD copy of the 1934 moview produced for us by Emporium Pictures, a company that specializes in converting old movie titles to DVD. Quantities are limited to 350 pc of the HO Set, and only 250 pc of the N Scale Set. All sets with matching DVD's will be numbered at the factory.


The Pioneer Zephyr is a name that has become synonymous with the word "streamliner". Concor's model faithfully reproduces the original, elegant, art deco, 3-car train. A limited number of sets will be made and they are sure to become collectors items. Interiors and lights are included. DCC Ready.
