This black 40' box car with single Youngstown door, tall ladders and no roofwalk is painted with gray bands and runs on black Bettendorf trucks. One of 50 cars built by Canadian Car & Foundry in June 1939, this car originally had green sides with black roof and ends. Cars operated at the head-end of passenger trains, equipped with steam, air and signal lines. The 1961 CN corporate image, when formally adopted, saw a change in paint schemes for the railroad's locomotive and passenger car fleet. During December 1967, car # 11064 was repainted in new passenger paint at Winnipeg's Transcona shops.
