The Triton Soldering Tool is the economical way to experience the versatility of resistance soldering. How it works: squeezing the handle moves the jaws together to clamp the work. Squeezing a bit more turns the power on and heats the joint. When the solder flows (in just seconds), release pressure on the handle...simple, but effective. Set includes tweezer with general purpose carbon electrodes, heavy duty transformer with dual connections for either 50 or 100 watts*, and instructions.

*Since a resistance soldering unit concentrates heat at the joint, it will heat larger work than will a conventional soldering iron of the same power.
