N Scale Collector - Boston and Maine Bicentennial Engine (2007 New England Convention)(#212) (SKU 976-NSC-ATL-07-21)

Available On: September 1, 2007

Hebert Matter's B&M logo was an integral component of the patriotic red, white, and blue color schem applied to EMD GP 38-2 number 212, which was renumbered 200 in honor of America's bi-centennial celebration. This unique locomotive was photographed at the Rigby engine terminal in South Portland, Maine on March 23, 1975.

Photo from the Kevin EuDaly collection reprinted from The New Haven railroad - in the McGinnis Era, by Marc Frattasio.

The N Scale Collector has commissioned ATLAS Model RR Company to produce this Boston and Maine Bi-Centennial engine to replicate the real thing as close as can possibly be close.
