The DE10 is a class of Japanese C-B wheel arrangement diesel-hydraulic locomotives. 707 locomotives were built between 1966 and 1976. The C-B notation denotes that the locomotive has three powered axles on its front truck but only two on the rear. This unequal axle distribution gives the DE10 an interesting and unique silhouette.
