This 40' despatch stock car is painted box car red with white lettering. It was built in February 1923, serviced in September 1957 and ran on Bettendorf trucks. These SK class stock cars were originally built as USDA design single sheathed box cars by Ralston in 1923 and converted to stock cars about 1940.
