This GP35 locomotive was painted MP blue with white logos, lettering and chevron stripes on the ends. First built in the early 1960s it was the first loco to bear the large white eagles (known as the Screaming Eagle or Turbo-Eagle), a distinct new symbol of the company during the diesel era. The eagles were eventually integrated into the company logo by the mid and late 1970s.
