Re-live some great moments in history in miniature with Kato’s “Super Chief”. This is another exciting “Classic Train” from Kato packaged nicely into an eight car set. The “Super Chief” was one of the named passenger trains of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. It was the only all Pullman train to operate on the Santa Fe main line between Chicago and Los Angeles and operated typically with 12 cars. An additional 4 car set is available to add to this set so the entire 12 car train can be modeled. The train was usually pulled by an F7A-B-B-A combination with our models time period being 1956 to 1958.
