 The 53 Alaska Railroad aluminum, 4 bay, rapid discharge (coal) hoppers, road numbers 16200-16252, were built by Trinity Industries in Texas in 1996 and put in use by the ARRC immediately hauling coal (and sometimes gravel).  They were delivered without ARR circle logos, which were added later by the ARRC shop crews.
