This GP-35 locomotive is painted black with yellow stripes, logos and lettering. It was built as part of EMD order number 7705 for the St. Louis & San Francisco (Frisco) railroad in 1964. The late 1960s saw the introduction of a popular red and white Frisco paint scheme and this black and yellow scheme disappeared long before the railroad was acquired by the Burlington Northern. In 1980 the locos were repainted to the black, green and white BN loco colors.
