NYC - Conrail double door 2-pack. Following the Conrail split, NYC 237739 had a left door replaced by CSX. The serviced door had come from a blue CSX or Chessie car and still had it’s instruction lettering in yellow. 

NYC 239261 may have (probably did have) door work in it’s past but it sports a matching set! Door work is common on these large cars due to body flex in the loading process. In fact, all doors must be opened during loading so the body will flex evenly. The doors must be opened and closed in a certain order based on instructions printed on the doors.
