CN 401020, a 50' standard box car with single plug door and no roofwalk, is one of 400 newsprint cars built November - December 1964 by National Steel Car as series 353000-353399. It is painted mineral red with reefer yellow door and black trucks and underframe. This series was built with running boards and tall ladders, and was serviced and renumbered to our series 401000-401399 in 1966-1967. The cars were serviced again in December 1976 at the Winnipeg Shops, Transcona, Manitoba.
