These GP-9 powered locomotives are painted Boston & Maine blue with large, white ”Boston and Maine” lettering on side and white road number on cab side. Built in 1957, for the Boston & Maine this wore several paint schemes before receiving this one, without the ‘BM’ nose print, in the early 1980s.
