50' Standard Box Car, Plug Door, w/o Roofwalk

This 50' plug door standard box car without roofwalk is painted aluminum overall with yellow sides. It has black lettering on the sides, doors and ends with the company?s 1970?s slogan in red. #492915 was one of 100 built at the Omaha shop in February 1964 as class BI-70-6 in group 499900 with glass wool insulation. This car was renumbered into the 492000 series when serviced in May of 1976 at the Omaha Shops. During the 1970?s, the company began applying the ?We Can Handle It? slogan to their freight. Considered part of the car?s equipment are shipper owned pallets.
